MEMORIES AND REMINISCENCES

These school registers recall an era when travel to the one room school house was much different from now.  Do you have any memories of getting to school on hand-made skiis, or riding the family horse?  Did your parents drive the horse and buggy to take you to school, or did you walk two miles to arrive at classes?  Do you have memories of the name roll call in the morning, and any reminiscences of community illnesses like diptheria, whooping cough, tuberculosis, measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc.?
